Audi India had recently teased the 2020 Audi RS7 Sportback on its website and social media handles thereby confirming the launch of this model in July this year. The German automaker is now believed to have started accepting bookings for the Sportback. The booking amount for the vehicle has been set at Rs 10 lakhs. Interested buyers can either book the new RS7 Sportback via the company’s official website or at the company’s authorised dealerships across the country. The brand has also confirmed that the deliveries will most likely commence from August this year. Apart from this, the company is also making sure that they cater to all the customization and personalization requests made by customers. Now a perspective buyer can easily take a closer look at the model via the 360-degree visualizer or augmented reality, in case they are booking it via the online medium.

Audi RS7 Front-view

2020 Audi RS7 is likely to be priced at Rs 1.75 crore (ex-showroom). It looks quite similar to its predecessor. However, one can easily differentiate it from the outgoing model due to its low stance. In fact the teaser that was shared sometime back reveals quite a few details about the car. The new RS7 is based on the standard A7 model. However, in comparison to that, the new edition is wider in size and gets an aggressive-looking front fascia. It gets a gloss black honeycomb grille along with massive air dams and matrix LED headlamps upfront. A larger diffuser surrounding the RS signature oval exhaust gives a bold look to the rear end of the car. On the sides, the India-spec model is likely to get 21-inch wheels. Globally, the Audi RS7 rides on the 21-inch and 22-inch wheels.

The cabin of the new Audi RS7 comes equipped with a plethora of features. These include a dual-touchscreen layout on the dashboard, Alcantara upholstery, and an RS-specific steering wheel with large paddle shifters. Audi has equipped it with a powerful powertrain for better performance and efficiency. Mechanically, it will draw its power from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo, V8 petrol engine, mated to a 48V mild hybrid system. In comparison to the first-generation RS7 model that delivered 560 bhp power and 700 Nm torque, the new RS7 delivers 600 bhp power and 800 Nm torque. The engine will be made available with an 8-speed torque converter gearbox. The gearbox sends power to all the wheels via the brand’s Audi Quattro all-wheel-drive-system.
