Bajaj Auto has finally launched the Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle in the Indian market at an introductory price of INR 95,000 (ex-showroom). The two-wheeler giant has also opened bookings for the 125-cc commuter. The company has achieved a significant milestone with the launch of the world’s first-ever CNG motorcycle. Although CNG cars have been in India for over a decade, this is the first time this technology has been integrated into a bike.
The new Freedom 125 runs on both petrol and CNG. Riders can switch between the two fuels by pressing a button placed on the left side of the handlebar. The two-wheeler giant is aiming to target commuters who are looking for a fuel-efficient model. The Bajaj Freedom, with its dual-fuel setup, is expected to reduce operating costs in comparison to other petrol-only motorcycles in the segment. The Bajaj Freedom will be offered in three different variants: Drum LED, Drum, and Disc LED.
