India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, BMW Motorrad, has started the booking process for the new BMW F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure on August 21, 2024. The latest BMW bikes will arrive in the country via Completely Built-Up (CBU) routes. Interested buyers can book the upcoming BMW bikes at their nearest BMW Motorrad dealership across India. In the brand's lineup, these motorcycles will replace the F850 GS Adventure, which is priced at INR 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

With minimalistic bodywork and slimmer dimensions, the BMW base F 900 GS is expected to provide a better off-road experience compared to the Adventure trim. The BMW F 900 GS has a kerb weight of 219 kg, which makes it 27 kg lighter than the previous model. It rolls on 21-17-inch spoke wheels shod with block-pattern tyres. For suspension duties, the BMW F 900 GS bike features USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the back.

The BMW F 900 GS Adventure tourer gets bulkier bodywork and road-biased tyres. It comes equipped with a 23-litre fuel tank, which is bigger than the one equipped in the F 900 GS base trim. The Adventure trim of the BMW F 900 GS gets an electronically adjustable suspension setup.

On the feature front, both models are loaded with amenities like multiple riding modes, traction control, power modes, ABS, a large 6.5-inch color TFT display, and a bi-directional quick shifter. The BMW F 900 GS range comes equipped with a flatter LED headlamp with sleek indicators. The all-new BMW F900 GS and F900 GS Adventure also feature a fully digital cluster that is protected by transparent visors.

The BMW F 900 GS series is powered by the same 895cc, twin-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power of 105 bhp at 8500 rpm and 93 Nm of peak torque at 6750 rpm. The BMW F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure have received a more robust engine in comparison to the previous bike, which features an 853-cc unit.
