Bmw iX Facelift Exterior Updates
While the updated iX looks very much the same, BMW iX facelift exterior updates includes the kidney grille which has been restyled with horizontal opposing diagonal lines, and Iconic Glow illumination which is now an option for the exterior lights. The redesigned front bumper includes bigger central air dams and vertical air intakes. BMW iX facelift exterior updates also features Diagonal LED signature for headlights now, borrowed from the M4 CS.
On the sides, minor BMW iX facelift exterior updates consist of a silver sash and new 20-inch alloy wheel designs as standard. Optionals include 21- and 22-inch wheels, the high-performance iX M70 getting an option for 23-inchers. The facelift also brings a restyled rear bumper with an integrated diffuser.

BMW iX Facelift Interior Upgrades
The BMW iX facelift interior upgrades include a steering wheel with a round three-spoke design rather than the pentagonal two-spoke design of the outgoing model. One of the most notable BMW iX facelift interior upgrades is the new M Multi-Function seats. On the iX M70 they come as standard and on the BMW iX facelift iX 45 and iX 60, optional, with the M Sport package, where they enhance better contouring and lateral support. The BMW iX facelift interior upgrades also comes with several upholstery options, including natural leather Castanea, Amido natural leather, and microfibre/Sensatec in Atlas Grey/Black featuring M-specific stitching.
BMW iX Facelift Power and Range
The BMW iX facelift power and range carries forward a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) package across all grades. BMW, however, ups the ante for power and the battery pack capacity:
- BMW iX facelift iX 45: It gets an upgraded 94.8kWh battery, producing 402hp with 700Nm of torque: 80hp and 70Nm more than the previous iX 40.
- iX 60: It comes with a larger 109.1kWh battery, which cranks out 536hp with 765Nm, up from the previous 13hp offered by the previous iX 50.
- iX M70: Powered by a 108.9kWh battery, it punches out 659hp, and up to 1100Nm of torque (with launch control), therefore beating the departing iX M60 by a 49 hp margin.
BMW iX Facelift Specifications
Efficiency has dominated the upgraded line of iX with WLTP-certified ranges that amaze:
- iX 60 : Leading the series, it hits a high mark of up to 701km on a charge.
- iX 45 : Closely follows with a max WLTP driving range of 602km
- iX M70 : As performance-tuned as it can get, up to 600km WLTP-driving range
Also, charging capacities have been bumped up:
- iX M70 and iX 60: Support up to 195kW fast-charging
- iX 45: Max charges at 175kW.
The facelifted BMW iX facelift is going to launch in spring 2025, with production scheduled for March at its Dingolfing plant. To date, available in India is the xDrive 50 variant, priced at Rs 1.39 crore, ex-showroom, Mumbai. While the variants coming to India remain unconfirmed, a late-2025 arrival appears likely for the updated iX.
