As the festive season arrives in India, several automakers are introducing new models and offering discounts to their customers. As part of the celebratory offer, the German luxury car manufacturer BMW recently introduced its most powerful production car, the BMW XM Label, in the Indian market. Now, the company has rolled out another premium model in the country: the new X7 Signature Limited Edition. The BMW X7 is being offered only in the petrol guise and xDrive40i variant.
The BMW X7 Signature Edition price in India is set at INR 1.33 crore (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can reserve the new X7 on BMW’s official website. The X7 Signature Edition will be retailed in limited numbers across the country. It is available in two new paint options: Dravit Grey and Tanzanite Blue.
BMW X7 Signature Edition Interior
Inside, the BMW X7 Signature version comes equipped with an instrument panel, crystal door pins, an ambient air package (air purifier), and Alcantara cushions. The cabin of the X7 is covered in a grey and white color theme. The X7 Signature Edition receives the same package as the standard model, which includes features like the driver-oriented cockpit, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, curved main display, and centre stack to the passenger side. It houses a large Sky Lounge panoramic glass sunroof, which extends to the third row of the car.
The flagship BMW SUV is loaded with captain seats that are upholstered in ‘Merino’ leather in Ivory White and Tartufo shades. Other BMW X7 Signature Edition features include all-wheel drive, elongated dynamic traction control, hill descent control, an adaptive two-axle air suspension, hill start assist, and electronically managed ‘Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks’ (ADB-X).
BMW X7 Signature Edition Exterior
The 2024 BMW X7 Signature Edition is loaded with updated exterior features like new LED headlamps with Swarovski glass-cut crystals, 3D taillights, and chrome bars in the grille. It also comes equipped with satin-finished aluminum roof rails and a window beltline.
BMW X7 Signature Edition Engine
The BMW X7 Signature draws power from a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, in-line petrol engine. The unit can churn out power of 381 bhp and 520 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that provides an extra power output of 12 bhp and torque of 200 Nm. The BMW X7 Signature can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.8 seconds. In its segment, the X7 Signature Edition rivals the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Volvo XC90, Range Rover Sport, and Audi Q8.
