Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has silently increased the prices of its entire product line-up post the BS6 update. Some of the two-wheelers received their first price hike while others have been given their second price increase. Recently, Honda increased the prices of BS6 Dio, Unicorn 160, and Activa 125 by Rs 955.
Honda two-wheelers launched the Dio in February this year. The base variant of BS6 Dio was priced at Rs 59,990 while the DLX variant cost Rs 63,340 (all prices, ex-showroom) at the time of its launch. In comparison to the BS4 prices, the company gave a hike of Rs 7100. After the BS6 update, the brand has again increased the prices by Rs 955. The BS6 Dio is now available in the price range of Rs 61,497 - Rs 64,847 (ex-showroom).
Talking about BS6 Honda Activa 125, then it received its first price hike in April 2020. The BS6 Activa 125’s Drum variant was offered at Rs 68,042. While the Drum Alloy trim was priced at Rs 71,542 and the Disc variant at Rs 75,042 (all prices, ex-showroom). The company has now again increased the prices by Rs 955. Thus, now the scooter is available in the price range of Rs 68,997 - Rs 75,997 (ex-showroom).
It introduced the BS6 version of Unicorn 160 in February this year at a price tag of Rs 93,593 (ex-showroom). The company had earlier given a price hike of Rs 13,000 over its BS4 counterpart. Recently, the manufacturer gave it a second price hike of Rs 955. Now the bike is available at Rs 94,548 (ex-showroom). The bike is offered in a single variant and did not receive any cosmetic updates.
Along with Dio, Activa 125, and Unicorn 160, Honda has also given a price hike of Rs 955 to its BS6 Activa 6G recently. The company was also offering 50 percent EMI for the first three months and payment of 95 percent loan amount through specially crafted finance offers on Honda Activa 6G and Shine.
