Citroen C3 Automatic Features
The brand has made a few tweaks in the design of the C3 Automatic version to give it a sportier look. The features list in the new Citroen C3 is the same as the outgoing manual trim, which incorporates electrically adjustable wing mirrors followed by integrated turn signals, LED projector headlamps, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, six airbags, and a 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen.
The Citroen C3 turbo automatic version features car-connected technology accessible through the MyCitroen Connect smartphone app. It is also loaded with safety amenities like hill hold assist, ABS, EBD, and six airbags. The C3 manual trims have now become INR 30,000 premium over select standard trims.
Citroen C3 Automatic Powertrain
Under the bonnet, the new Citroen C3 draws power from a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that is mated to a 6-speed torque converter. The same engine is equipped in the recently launched Citroen Basalt and the C3 Aircross. It is tuned to produce maximum power of 108 bhp at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 205 Nm at 1,750 rpm and 2,500 rpm.
The Citroen C3 manual car continues to be powered by the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit. However, in the manual version, the engine generates a peak torque of 190 Nm at 1,750 rpm. In the premium hatchback segment, the hatchback Citroen C3 AT rivals the likes of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, new Maruti Suzuki Swift, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
