Kia India has started the delivery process for the recently launched Kia Carnival MPV. One of the very first units of the MPV was recently delivered to the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Suresh Raina. The new-generation Kia Carnival is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 64 lakh (ex-showroom). The Carnival model purchased by the cricketer is finished in the elegant Glacier White shade. 

The Kia Carnival MPV was delivered to cricketer Suresh Raina through the Jayanti Kia dealership. New images and pictures have been posted on social media. The new Kia Carnival reaches the country as a Completely Knocked-Down (CKD) kit. However, it still commands a premium price range compared to its predecessor.

Kia Carnival MPV Features

The new-gen Carnival sports a bolder design and a new front fascia. It comes equipped with vertically stacked LED headlights, a large Tiger Nose grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lights.

Inside, the Carnival MPV is loaded with amenities like a 12.3-inch infotainment system followed by a 12-speaker Bose system, a 12.3-inch driver display, a 12-way powered driver seat, an 11-inch head-up display, and an 8-way powered passenger seat. The cabin is loaded with features like dual single-pane sunroofs, three-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger.

For passenger safety, the new multi-purpose vehicle houses amenities like eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, parking sensors, Level-2 ADAS features, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Kia Carnival MPV Powertrain

The 2024 Kia Carnival draws power from a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine. The unit is tuned to churn out a power of 193 bhp and a peak torque of 441 Nm. It is mated to an eight-speed torque converter automatic. The South Korean automaker is also offering the Carnival MPV with a package that incorporates benefits like 3 years of free maintenance, RSA benefits, and warranty.
