Ducati India has rolled out the Panigale V2 motorcycle in the new black shade. The automaker previously offered the motorcycle only in the red color scheme. The 2024 Ducati Panigale V2 Black is available at a price tag of INR 20.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new Panigale V2 black edition started in April 2024, whereas deliveries should begin soon. The new motorcycle is INR 30,000 more expensive than the standard model. It arrives in the country as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The bike rivals the likes of the BMW S 1000 RR and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.

The Panigale V2 motorcycle features the same distinctive design language as the flagship Panigale V4. It houses a twin headlamp setup and the signature LED DRLs. The Ducati Panigale V2 Black has an all-black gloss-finished paint scheme followed by red stripes on the fuel tank and fairing. The bike rolls on 17-inch black alloy wheels that are highlighted by red pinstripes.

The Ducati Panigale V2 Black is powered by a 955-cc, L-twin, liquid-cooled engine that churns out power of 155 bhp at 10,750 rpm and peak torque of 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and an aluminum monocoque frame. The Ducati Panigale V2 Black is loaded with 43-mm fully Showa USD front forks and a manageable Sachs monoshock at the back. Braking duties are done by 320 mm dual discs with Brembo Monoblock M 4.32 calipers up front, and at the back, the bike gets a 245 mm disc.

In terms of features, the Panigale V2 Black is loaded with a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console, power modes, riding modes, cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Traction Control, Engine Brake Control (EBC), auto tyre calibration, and bi-directional quickshifter. Other amenities include a Sachs steering damper, auto-off indicators, a Ducati Data Analyser+ (DDA+) with a GPS module, an anti-theft system, and a Ducati Multimedia System (DMS).
