Honda Cars India is all set to implement a price hike across its lineup starting in April 2024. This will be the second price hike from the auto giant in 2024, as it also increased the prices of its models in January this year. The company’s current product lineup in the Indian market comprises the Amaze, City eHEV, fifth-gen City, and Elevate. The upcoming price hike will affect three Honda models: the Elevate, City, and Amaze.
The Amaze is Honda’s most affordable model in India. It comes at a starting price of INR 7.16 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Honda Elevate is available at a price of INR 11.58 lakh (ex-showroom). The Honda City, on the other hand, is priced at INR 11.71 lakh (ex-showroom). The City e:HEV hybrid comes at a price tag of INR 18.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out 89 bhp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque. The compact sedan can be had with CVT and manual. The Honda City is available in SV, V, VX, and ZX trims and is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol powertrain. The unit churns out 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. The auto giant launched the Elevate in 2023. It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine. In its segment, it rivals the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and Volkswagen Taigun.
Honda has not announced the price increment officially. The exact quantum of the price surge will also be shared in the coming days. Meanwhile, the auto giant has launched special year-end discount offers for its customers. The Honda Elevate comes with a discount of up to INR 50,000, while the Amaze gets benefits of up to INR 90,000. On the other hand, the Honda City is available with maximum benefits of up to INR 1.20 lakh. All these discount offers are only valid until the end of this month.
