  • Honda Racing India Riders Set a New Record

Honda’s solo Indian team - IDEMITSU Honda Racing India Team earned 11 points in the inaugural round of FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2022. The team did this in a single round for the first time in the AP250 class of the championship. 


Furthermore, the Indian rider Rajiv Sethu earned 5 additional points at Buriram International Circuit today. With this, the 20-year-old Indian rider grabbed his highest ever 3 points in the championship. Followed by Senthil Kumar, who also showcased his full power and recorded his best-ever finish in AP250 class of ARRC at the 13th spot (earlier highest 14th). Talking about the race of Thailand Talent Cup (TTC) 2022, the teen rider Sarthak Chavan became the first Indian rookie to win 9 points with a 7th finish in the second race. 


“I am happy with the performance of our riders today who made India proud on international soil. Both Rajiv and Senthil utilized their strategies and machines to achieve the highest single-round points for the team. On the other hand, Sarthak Chavan, the face of new, confident, and aggressive young Indian riders finished in the top 7 today in TTC and grabbed a total of 13 points in round 1 itself.
