Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the EV-making subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited has just launched TEZ Electric. This electric light commercial vehicle (LCV) is designed for last-mile delivery and small cargo transport.
This vehicle starts at Rs. 10.35 lacs (ex-showroom) and has a 1.05-ton payload-carrying capacity. This EV will likely compete with the likes of Tata Ace EV, Mahindra, and Piaggio's electric LCVs.
Expanding the Production of JEM eLCVs in India
JEM has inaugurated a 2.5-acre EV manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Indore, Madhya Pradesh to support the production of TEZ Electric. These are the highlights of its production center.
