The KTM 390 adventure motorcycle has been spotted testing in India. The bike maker has been testing the adventure bike for quite some time now. Earlier, the next-generation KTM 390 was witnessed in Europe, and now the two-wheeler maker is all set to unveil the new motorcycle in the Indian market. The 2025 KTM 390 motorcycle is likely to be launched this year with significant updates and an enhanced chassis. It will retain the 399-cc single-cylinder engine equipped in the new 390 Duke.

The spy shots revealed on social media hint that the KTM 390 will be like the bigger adventure motorcycles offered by KTM. The bike gets a new vertically located projector headlamp and LED DRLs. The half-fairing on the bike looks more Dakar Rally-ready. The test mule witnessed in the country comes with a few changes over the European one, including the 19-inch front wheel in exchange for a 21-inch unit. KTM is likely to unveil several variants incorporating a full-spec adventure machine and a tourer that will cater to different requirements at various price points.

The bike manufacturer is also likely to offer different tyre choices in different variants. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is likely to get better ground clearance, whereas the height of the seat could also go lower due to the reworked chassis. The test motorcycle gets wider grab rails and a one-piece seat. It will be powered by the new 399 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor engine that churns out 44 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque. The manufacturer could also offer the same 390 ADV on the 390 Duke for more touring needs.

The motor will also include a six-speed gearbox, a bi-directional quickshifter, riding modes, and maybe multi-level traction control as well. The 390 Adventure will get double-channel ABS along with the Supermoto feature. It will come with a TFT display and smartphone connectivity.

The outgoing KTM 390 Adventure is available at an initial price of INR 2.80 lakh, and it goes up to INR 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be fascinating to see if the automaker manages to introduce a minor price change as it did with the new 390 Duke motorcycle. This should help the model's pricing to be more competitive when it rivals the Royal Enfield Himalayan and Triumph in the future.
