Billionaires, celebrities or anyone who has million dollars lying in the bank can buy the Limited Edition Lamborghini Sian Roadster. The Italian luxury automaker is famous for its limited-edition models and the Sian Roadster does not disappoint us either. Revealed recently, the stunning Sian Roadster will be powered by the iconic V-12 engine with hybrid technology. According to Lamborghini, only 19 units of the roadster will be produced and they say that all of them are already sold out. This makes it one of the most exclusive Limited-Edition models in the world. The number 19 is an ode to 1963 when Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini S.p.A. was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini. The Sián Roadster first made its debut in Blue Uranus colour scheme with the supercar colour and finish personalized as per the client’s tastes.
Sian’s long fashioned silhouette and aero wings help enhance the Roadsters profile. Its front end with carbon fibre splitter houses the traditional Lamborghini Y-shape headlights. Zero aerodynamic efficiency loss is possible thanks to the roofless design. More so the airflow is directed through the front splitters going through the bonnet onto the side air intakes and outlets and then spilling over the rear spoiler. Active cooling vanes at the rear use patented Lamborghini material-science technology. Smart material elements in the vanes get triggered by the heat generated from the exhaust system, making them rotate and provide cooling to the occupants.
Further the Roadster is equipped with Lamborghini’s innovative supercapacitor technology, it stores ten times the power of Li-Ion battery. An interesting point to note is that the supercapacitor system is three times more powerful and lighter than a battery weighing the same. The V12 engine delivers a majestic 785 bhp of maximum power @ 8,500 RPM. With the addition of 34 bhp from the hybrid system, the Sián Roadster produces a combined power of 819 bhp. It can clock a top speed of 350 Kmph and has a 0 to 100 kms acceleration of just 2.9 seconds.
