Maruti Suzuki has rolled out the Ignis Radiance Edition in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of INR 5.49 lakh. The automaker is also offering a price reduction of INR 35,000 on the new edition. Maruti offers the Ignis hatchback in four variants: Sigma, Zeta, Delta, and Alpha. Notably, all these variants have now received the Radiance edition. However, the price of every Radiance variant has not been disclosed yet.

The Ignis hatchback was launched in India in 2017. Since then, the company has sold over 2.8 million units of the hatchback. The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is retailed exclusively via Nexa dealerships, which has increased the brand’s overall sales. The auto giant is providing the Radiance package with several accessories, like door visors, chrome garnishes for several car parts, and wheel covers.

The base variant of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis comes at INR 5.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, the Radiance Edition Sigma variant gets additional accessories like door visors, wheel covers, and BSM chrome for INR 3,650, down from INR 5,320. The Alpha and Delta variants similarly get door cladding, cushion doors, and seat covers for INR 9,500.

The company has not made any mechanical changes to the Ignis Radiance Edition, and it draws power from the same 1.2-litre petrol engine equipped in the current model. The engine churns out power of 82 bhp and peak torque of 113 Nm. It is paired with a manual or an AMT gearbox. The Ignis Radiance Edition is loaded with a range of advanced features, including LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, roof rails, alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, ABS with EBD, automatic climate control, hill hold assist, and electronic stability control.

Maruti Suzuki said in an official statement, "The Radiance edition brings along a host of cosmetic enhancements and amplifies the robust and dynamic persona of Ignis. The bold exterior design, coupled with premium interiors and modern technology, makes the Ignis Radiance edition a standout in its segment."
