Nissan, a leading automotive manufacturer known for its outstanding car lineup in India, has finally launched the 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift in the Indian market after teasing this model for months. The updated version of the Magnite is being offered at the same starting price of INR 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). However, these prices are introductory, and only the first 10,000 customers can drive home this amazing facelift at the current price.

Nissan India first launched the Magnite SUV in the Indian market in 2020, and since then the company has retailed and exported more than 1.5 lakh Magnite units across the world. The Nissan Magnite facelift features the same design language and silhouette as the standard version. However, it does get a few feature additions and cosmetic enhancements that set it apart from the outgoing Magnite SUV.

Nissan Magnite Facelift Exterior

The updated Magnite receives a revamped bumper at the front. The car’s new front fascia and chrome inserts make it even more appealing. It rolls on newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The Nissan Magnite has retained the same tail lamps, but they now receive new elements to give the car a new look. In addition, it comes equipped with boomerang-style DRLs (daytime running lights), automatic LED headlights, and a bi-functional projector.

Inside, the Nissan Magnite facelift features the same cabin elements. It is being offered with a new Sunrise Copper Orange color scheme for upholstery and touch surfaces and a new steering wheel. On the feature front, the new Magnite is loaded with features like wireless phone mirroring, Type-C charging ports, a 360-degree camera, powered mirrors, LED headlamps, a HEPA air filter, an adjustable driver’s seat, and LED DRLs.

Nissan Magnite Facelift Powertrain

The 2024 Magnite comes with two engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.0-litre NA petrol. The former can churn out a maximum power of 99 bhp and torque of 160 Nm, and it is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT, whereas the latter version churns out a power of 71 bhp and torque of 96 Nm. The 1.0-litre NA petrol engine is mated to either a five-speed AMT or a five-speed MT. In its segment, the Nissan Magnite facelift will rival the likes of the Tata Punch, Maruti Fronx, Renault Kiger, and more.
