The Japanese carmaker Nissan has finally rolled out the fourth-generation X-Trail SUV in the Indian market. The new SUV is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 49.92 lakh. It arrives on Indian shores as a completely built unit. Bookings for the X-Trail SUV are currently open for a token amount of INR 1 lakh. Nissan has already brought 150 units of the SUV into the country. The fourth-generation X-Trail SUV is being offered in a single variant, and it rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, and Hyundai Tucson.

Nissan Motor India is offering the X-Trail in three color options: Champagne Silver, Diamond Black, and Pearl White. The X-Trail has been resurrected almost a decade later. In terms of features, the 2024 Nissan X-Trail is packed with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps with DRLs, an electronic parking brake, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and a speed limiter.

Inside the cabin, it features an 8-inch infotainment system that supports Android Auto connectivity and Apple CarPlay, front and rear parking sensors, a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, keyless entry, wireless charging, rear and front parking sensors, and more. The Nissan X-Trail sports utility vehicle is available in a seven-seat configuration. When it comes to dimensions, the new car measures 4,680 mm in length, 1,725 mm in height, and 1,840 mm in width. The new SUV has a wheelbase of 2,705 mm and a ground clearance of 210 mm. It rolls on 20-inch alloy wheels.

Powering the Nissan X-Trail is a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine mated to a strong-hybrid system. The unit can churn out a maximum power of 163 bhp at 4,800 rpm and a peak torque of 300 Nm. The new SUV offers three drive modes: Sport, Standard, and Eco.
