After unveiling its other 650-cc bikes like the Interceptor, Super Meteor, Shotgun, Continental GT, and Bear in India, the leading Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, Royal Enfield, has rolled out its sixth 650-cc bike in the Indian market, which is none other than the Classic 650. The Chennai-based manufacturer officially uncovered this model globally at EICMA 2024. The new Royal Enfield Classic 650 has been on sale in global markets since January this year.
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 price in India starts at INR 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom). According to the company, the new motorcycle is the most robust Classic 650 model to date. Taking inspiration from the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, the new motorcycle is being offered in the domestic market in three variants: Classic, Hotrod, and Chrome.

The automaker is offering the new Classic motorcycle with a range of features, including adjustable levers, a USB Type-C charging port, an LED headlamp, Tripper Navigation, a tail lamp, and dual-channel ABS. The Royal Enfield Classic 650 features a part-analog and part-analog display.

In terms of design, the new Royal Enfield Classic 650 takes inspiration from the brand’s one of the best motorcycles available in the market, the Classic 350 bike. In addition, the new Royal Enfield bike includes design elements like curved fenders, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and twin exhaust pipes. The bike stands on a steel frame, and its suspension duties are done with dual shock absorbers at the rear and a telescopic fork up front. It rolls on wire-spoke wheels shod with tube-type tyres.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 Powertrain
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 motorcycle draws power from a 648-cc, parallel-dual, air/oil-cooled engine, which is paired with a 6-speed transmission unit that comes with a slipper clutch. The powertrain is tuned to churn out a peak power of 6.3 bhp and a torque of 52.3 Nm.
