Royal Enfield, one of India’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, has filed a trademark for the Guerrilla 450 name. The brand has also registered the Guerrilla 450 logo, hinting that the new model will soon hit the market. In the Indian market, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 comes at a starting price of INR 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming Guerrilla 450 is also likely to be priced around INR 2.40 lakh. The new bike is expected to be launched at the end of June.
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is expected to be based on the Himalayan 452-cc platform. The upcoming bike is likely to draw power from the same 452-cc engine, which is also equipped in the Himalayan 450. The liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine churns out power of 39.4 bhp and peak torque of 40 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

The status of the trademark application filed by the brand is "Formalities Chk Pass," indicating that the paperwork has been verified by the Indian Trademark Registry. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 model has been spied on many times. The test model suggests that the bike will have retro elements such as a circular headlight, mirrors, and taillight. In terms of design, the bike shares similarities with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. The rear section, on the other hand, resembles the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
Royal Enfield is expected to launch the Guerrilla 450 with the same features as the Himalayan models. The bike is likely to come equipped with a 5-inch round TFT screen, followed by connected technology such as app-based navigation, an indicator and tail light, an LED headlamp, and switchgear. In the Indian market, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will rival the likes of the Harley-Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440, Triumph Speed 400, KTM 390, Duke Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, and more.
