Royal Enfield had revealed the 120th Anniversary Limited Edition Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 at EICMA last year. The bike maker has commenced the deliveries of the motorcycles from today onwards. Royal Enfield plans to sell a total of 480 units of the RE 650 Twins Anniversary Edition in India, Europe, the USA, and South-East Asia markets. Having said that, only 120 units of the motorcycle are allotted to the Indian market - 60 each for both bikes. The first 120th Anniversary edition RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 were delivered to the Rear Admiral of the Indian Navy, Philipose G Pynumootil, and Olympian Gagan Narang respectively.
Cosmetically, the RE 120th Anniversary Limited Edition 650 Twins gets a special black chrome color with a black finish. The special models come equipped with a plethora of features. These include a handcrafted die-cast brass tank badge, a side panel decal, a unique serial number on the tank top badge, an anniversary emblem, and iconic hand-painted pinstripes. The bikes also feature plush seats in the brown shade with color-matched grips on the handlebars. Furthermore, the engine and silencer get a black finish.
