Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced the My Triumph Connectivity System with Street Triple RS and Tiger 800 range in the country. Even the owners of Street Triple RS (Model Year 2017–2019) and Tiger 800 (Model Year 2018–2019 for XRX, XCX and XCA variants) with TFT instrument clusters can upgrade to this feature from December 21, 2020. Furthermore, the retrofit package for Tiger 1200 will be available from 2021. My Triumph Connectivity System will offer the riders Triumph’s ‘turn-by-turn’ navigation system, integrated GoPro control system, music and phone operation and bike status monitoring.
Triumph's turn-by-turn navigation system has been developed in collaboration with Google. The My Triumph app works in sync with the My Triumph Connectivity System to deliver live navigation on the TFT screen to a rider. The app permits a user to pair his smartphone wirelessly with the motorcycle via Bluetooth, all thanks to an accessory fitted My Triumph Connectivity Module. The My Triumph app can be downloaded for free at both iOS and Android app stores. Additionally, it offers what3words functionality which allows the rider to navigate to an exact 3 metre square location anywhere in the world. The voice guidance facility can also be availed through a Bluetooth headset if connected.
Speaking of the integrated GoPro control system, it is the world's first such type of system which allows the rider to capture every moment of his/her ride via the My Triumph Connectivity System. The control key GoPro function can be accessed through the TFT screen and left-hand switch cube. As far as phone and music operation is concerned, the pairing of smartphone with My Triumph Connectivity System allows a rider to make and receive calls, see SMS messages, and control your music through the left-hand switch cube, with clear notifications displayed on the TFT instruments, and audio transmitted through a Bluetooth headset if connected. Last but not the least, the rider can monitor the status of his/her Triumph motorcycle by accessing the My Garage feature in the My Triumph app. The My Garage feature shares multiple information with the rider such as odometer, average fuel consumption, and time/distance to service.
