Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced two new dual-tone color schemes for its mid-level adventure tourer motorcycle, the Tiger 850 Sport. The automaker has not made any mechanical changes to the bike, and it continues to be priced at INR 11.95 lakh (ex-showroom). As per the brand’s official website, the Tiger 850 Sport is now being offered in Roulette Green with Jet Black and Korosi Red with Graphite paint options. Apart from the new colors, the motorcycle is also available in two original color schemes: Diablo Red with Graphite and Jet Black with Graphite.
The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport draws power from an 888-cc, liquid-cooled, inline 3-cylinder engine. The unit can produce a maximum power of 84 bhp and 82 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that features slip and assist clutches. The two-wheeler giant claims that the Tiger 850 Sport has a 10,000-mile or 12-month service interval, whichever comes first.

The Tiger 850 Sport features a tubular steel frame, a twin-sided aluminum swingarm, and a bolt-on subframe. Suspension duties are done by a manually adjustable monoshock unit at the back and a 45 mm upside-down fork at the front. For braking duties, the bike comes with Brembo Stylema calipers up front, and at the rear, it gets a 255 mm disc with a Brembo single piston sliding caliper. The motorcycle has switchable traction control and a decent electronics suite that is designed to offer an enhanced riding experience. The Tiger 850 Sport has two riding modes: Rain and Road.
In the Indian market, the Tiger 850 Sport rivals the likes of the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE and the Honda Transalp XL750. The comprehensive electronics suite and distinctive styling of the Tiger 850 Sport set it apart from other motorcycles available on the market. Additionally, Triumph India launched the Tiger 900 range in India earlier this year. The Tiger 900 is available in two variants: Rally Pro and GT. The Triumph Rally Pro bike is priced at INR 15.95 lakh (ex-showroom), while the GT version comes at a price of INR 13.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
