TVS Motor Company, one of India’s leading two- and three-wheeler makers, has launched the 2024 Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition in India at an attractive price of INR 1,28,720 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for the new Apache RTR 160 are currently open for buyers across the country. The new bike takes inspiration from the brand’s rich racing heritage, and it is specially designed for motorcycle enthusiasts. The most notable changes in the 2024 Apache RTR 160 Racing model are the addition of new graphics elements and color schemes.

TVS is offering the 2024 Apache RTR 160 with exclusive Matter Black body color, race-inspired carbon fibre graphics followed by the Racing Edition logo, and striking red alloy wheels. The motorcycle is powered by the same 160-cc air-cooled engine that is also integrated into the standard versions. The unit can generate a maximum power of 15.8 bhp at 8,750 rpm and a peak torque of 12.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle has a top speed of 107 kmph.

In terms of features, the Racing Edition of the Apache RTR 160 is loaded with a digital LCD cluster LED headlamp, tail lamp, and TVS SmartXonnect Technology that offers Bluetooth connectivity with Voice Assist, call/SMS notifications, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, and race telemetry. The motorcycle features three riding modes: Sport, Rain, and Urban, for diverse riding conditions. Braking duties are done by a 270 mm disc at the front and a 200 mm disc or a 130 mm drum at the back.

The two-wheeler manufacturer recently launched the Apache RTR 160 4V Black Edition in the Indian market. In the brand’s lineup, the Black Edition is positioned at the top. The motorcycle comes at a starting price of INR 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), around INR 9,000 more expensive than the Black Edition and a bit higher than the TVS Apache RTR 160 RM.
