The leading two-wheeler giant TVS Motor has launched the Raider 125 commuter bike at an affordable price of INR 84,869 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This brings the motorcycle’s base price down by INR 11,000. The new commuter bike comes equipped with a drum brake set up at the front and rear. In the brand’s lineup, the Raider 125 is positioned under the single-disc variant.

TVS Raider 125 Specifications

The TVS Raider 125 commuter bike features the same appearance and design as the standard model. It is packed with features like an LCD, a single-piece seat, a TFT screen with SmartXonnect, and an LED headlight. All variants of the motorcycle feature two ride modes: Power and Eco.

Powering the Raider 125 Drum is a 124.8cc, air-cooled engine that churns out power of 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 11.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The unit is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The commuter bike is loaded with telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It has an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 56.7 km/l.

The TVS Raider has been a popular offering in the country in the commuter bike segment. In its segment, the TVS Raider gives tough competition to the Honda SP 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R.
