Volvo Cars India is all set to launch the XC40 Recharge in July this year. Following this, the deliveries of the vehicle will begin around October 2022. The automaker had showcased the electric car almost a year ago in the Indian market. The brand has already listed the all-electric SUV on the official website. The new Volvo XC40 Recharge is expected to be priced around Rs 75 lakhs (ex-showroom). Once launched, the vehicle will compete against the likes of Mercedes Benz EQC, Jaguar i-Pace, Audi e-Tron, and BMW iX.
Cosmetically, the new XC40 Recharge retains most of its design bits from the standard SUV. However, it does get several upgrades. The all-electric SUV features LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, hands-free function for the tailgate, and many more. The cabin of the XC40 Recharge boasts of a plethora of features. These include a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, Android-powered touchscreen infotainment unit, two-zone climate control, powered driver seat with memory, wireless phone charging, and a powered passenger seat.
