The leading two-wheeler company Yamaha Motor India has rolled out the R15M motorcycle in the Indian market. The R15M bike now receives new color schemes and carbon fibre graphics along with new features. It is available in Metallic Grey paint, which is priced at INR 1,98,300 (ex-showroom), while the latest Carbon Fibre Pattern comes at a price of INR 2,08,300 (ex-showroom).
The new Carbon Fibre Pattern takes inspiration from the bike’s carbon bodywork. It has been created using a water-dipping technique. This pattern appears on the motorcycle’s side fairing, rear fender, and front cowl. The R15M also comes equipped with a blacked-out front fender and the latest graphics on the tank and fairing.

The Yamaha R15M receives enhancements like a turn-by-turn navigation feature and music control options. These functions can be used through the Y-Connect application, which can be downloaded via the App Store for iOS devices and the Play Store for Android devices. The riders will need to download the application on their smartphones. In addition, the bike comes equipped with an LED license plate light, traction control, Bluetooth connectivity, and better switchgear.
Powering the Yamaha R15M is a fuel-injected 155cc engine that churns out 18.10 bhp of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed with assist, quickshifter, and slip clutch. The motorcycle also features VVA and traction control. Suspension duties are done by monoshock and USD fork. For braking duties, the bike has disc brakes at the front and rear with dual-channel ABS.
