Classic Legends is all set to launch the Yezdi Roadking & ADV motorcycle on January 13 in the country. The brand has released the first official teaser video on its social media handles. The teaser video shows a glimpse of both bikes playing around on the beach. Not many details have been revealed yet. However, we could see wire-spoke wheels on the bike and twin exhausts. With this launch, the Yezdi brand will be revived in the country. Having said that, it will be the third resurrection from the Classic Legends after Jawa and BSA.
The Yezdi Roadking will be a scrambler model. While the ADV will resemble the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Recently, the upcoming Yezdi bikes were spotted doing test runs on the Indian roads. The spy images of the same were released online. From the spy images, we could see that both bikes might get features like telescopic forks upfront. However, the Roadking will get dual-shockers towards the rear and the ADV will get a mono-shock setup. Besides these, the Yezdi Roadking will feature a single-piece seat, a chrome exhaust, knuckle guards, and blacked-out side panels. The Yezdi Adventure bike, on the other hand, will come equipped with features like a circular headlamp unit, digital instrument cluster, round rearview mirrors, wire-spoke wheels, split seat setup, and a tall windscreen.
Performance-wise, both bikes are likely to be powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder engine that also does duty on Jawa Perak. As of now, the power and torque figures have not been revealed yet. But in Perak, the same engine churns out a top power of 30 bhp and a peak torque of 32.74 Nm while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Talking about the Yezdi brand, it was introduced in 1973 and was based on Jawa bikes. Moving on, the Yezdi Roadking bike will rival the likes of the Honda BRS350. The Yezdi Adventure bike, on the other hand, will compete against the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan.
