Bengaluru-based EV maker Ultraviolette has launched the new version of the F77 in India. The new motorcycle is named the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. The automaker will sell the F77 in two variants: the F77 Mach 2 and the F77 Mach 2 Recon. The Mach 2 version is available at an introductory price of INR 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The F77 Mach 2 Recon, on the other hand, is priced at INR 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, these prices are introductory and can only be availed of by the first 1,000 customers. Bookings for the new Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 are available for a token amount of INR 5,000. The two-wheeler giant will start deliveries of the bike in May 2024. 

The fast electric motorcycle has received notable features, performance, and hardware updates. The F77 Mach 2 electric bike retains the same design as the standard model. It is now available in a range of color schemes, like Asteroid Grey, Lighting Blue, Afterburner Yellow, Turbo Red, Stealth Grey, Supersonic Silver, Plasma Red, Cosmic Black, and Stellar White.

In terms of features, the 2024 Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 sports a range of amenities such as a five-inch TFT, hill hold, auto-dimming lights, dynamic stability control, and ABS. The Recon variant comes with four-level traction control. The motorcycle comes with three riding modes: ballistic, glide, and combat. The F77 Mach 2 can sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.8 seconds and can reach 0 to 100 kmph in 7 seconds.

The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 comes with an aluminum-made charging port lid in place of the previous plastic unit. It has new graphics on the forks at the front. The bike rolls on 17-inch wheels that are wrapped in 150/60 rear and 110/70 front tyre. The F77 Mach 2 comes equipped with 41 mm USD forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock. Braking components consist of a solitary 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disk.

The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 variant is powered by a 27kW motor, while the Recon trim draws power from a 30kW motor. The standard model receives a 7.1kWh battery, and the F77 Mach 2 Recon houses a 10.3kWh unit that provides a range of 211 km to 323 km.
