Tata Motors, the homegrown SUV manufacturer, has rolled out the updated version of its popular offering, the Punch, with new features and more affordable trims. The 2024 Tata Punch is being offered at a starting price of INR 6.12 lakh. The Tata Punch price goes up to INR 9.45 lakh for the top variant. All prices are ex-showroom. In addition, Tata Motors is offering the updated Punch with benefits of up to INR 18,000.
Interested buyers can reserve the new SUV online through the brand’s official website, or they can also visit their nearest Tata dealerships. The Tata Punch SUV has been a popular SUV in the Indian market. It is the highest-selling model from the brand in FY25. With the festive season around the corner, the company expects the Punch SUV to attract more customers across India.

The company has updated its entire Punch lineup by unveiling new variants under the Creative and Accomplished versions. The sunroof-equipped trims of the Punch SUV have also become more affordable for customers. There are no cosmetic enhancements in the new Punch SUV, despite the feature upgrade.
2024 Tata Punch Features
On the feature front, the 2024 Tata Punch is loaded with amenities like a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, a USB Type-C charging port, a wireless charger, an armrest for the front row with a grand console, and rear AC vents.

For safety, the 2024 Tata Punch houses dual-front airbags, a reverse parking camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and an electronic stability program. It continues to feature a push-button start and stop system, automatic climate control, a six-speaker Harmon and Kardon system, an adjustable driver’s seat, a cooled love box, and auto-fold ORVMs.
2024 Tata Punch Engine
Under the bonnet, the Tata Punch draws power from the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder NA petrol engine equipped in the standard Punch model. The engine is mated to an AMT and five-speed manual gearbox. Buyers can also go for the Punch CNG trim, which is available in seven distinct versions. The Punch SUV rivals the likes of the Hyundai Exter, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Nissan Magnite, Citroen C3, and Renault Kiger.
