The Skoda Octavia now gets Virtual Cockpit i.e. digital instrument cluster with its range topping L&K variant. The all-digital instrument cluster offers a ton of information about the car, navigation system, infotainment system and more. Similar to the Audi's virtual cockpit, the Skoda Octavia's new instrument cluster will show full screen Navigation system.
The high definition TFT screen will replace the old analogue dials offering 3D graphics. All the car related information and the entertainment system can be controlled via the steering mounted controls which will help the driver toggle through different menus and even zoom in and out of the Navigation system while driving.
This addition of the digital instrument cluster makes the Octavia more desirable. Skoda already offers this feature in its international models and we can expect the carmaker to introduce it on the other models in India as well including the Kodiaq SUV and the Superb flagship sedan.
