The company has already begun deliveries for the limited edition Diavel Diesel. Ducati stopped selling the BSIII Diavel here when the government enforced BSIV emission norms. This version is limited to 666 units worldwide and the company has confirmed that a small number based on customer orders will be sold her, with a price tag of ₹21.7 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
While Ducati had launched its Diavel Diesel back in March 2017, the bike had to be withdrawn on April 1 due to the more stringent emission regulations that kicked in. The new GST regulations have pushed prices up as well to the current ₹21.7 lakh. Customers who originally booked the Diavel Diesel will now get deliveries of the new BSIV-spec bike instead.
The Diavel Diesel was first unveiled at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2017, the Ducati Diavel Diesel and is the product of a collaboration between the Ducati Design Centre and Andrea Rosso, Diesel’s licensing creative director. The Diavel Diesel is available at Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Kolkata. The standard-spec Diavel will also be sold here in BSIV-spec by the end of October 2017.
