The 2018 Ducati 959 Panigale Corse has been launched in India today at a price of Rs. 15.20 lakhs (ex-showroom). This bike is inspired by Ducati's MotoGP bike Desmosedici 18 and thus comes with unique Corse livery which looks beautiful.
The 959 Panigale Corse is powered by the same engine that does duty on the standard 959 and it is a Superquadro 955cc L-Twin motor giving out 150 PS of power and 107 Nm of twist. The bike is offered with 3 riding modes - Race, Sport and Wet.
Some other features on the Ducati 959 Panigale Corse include 2-channel Bosch ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Quick Shift, Engine Brake Control and Ride-By-Wire. However, the Indian version of this bike misses out on things like Ohlins suspension system, lithium battery, Ohlins steering damper and Ducati Performance titanium exhuast by Akrapovic.
Bookings for this bike have commenced at Ducati showrooms in Mumbai, NCR, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Pune, Kolkata and Chennai. Also, the bike will be displayed at the DRE track days which will be held at the Buddh International Circuit on 13th and 14th October.
