The start-up showcased its model One, which will go on sale in 2019 and will be priced at between ₹5-6 lakh. The electric bike uses a 60kW motor that makes 84Nm. The bikemaker says the One can go from 0 to 100kph in 3 seconds and promises a city range of 200km.
Emflux is a company based in Bengaluru with three partners – Varun Mittal, Ankit Khatry and Vinay Raj Somashekhar. Early in 2017 the company showed an electric sports bike concept with some big claims, at least as far as performance is concerned.
The bike uses a liquid-cooled AC induction motor and the battery pack itself is air-cooled and uses battery cells developed by Samsung. You can get a 0-80 percent quick charge that can be done in 1hr 15mins. The One is a prototype, and the company will sell three variants when the bike goes on sale.
