The company wants to make the Go and Go+ more up-market.

The facelifted Go Hatchback and its seven-seater derivative, the Go+ will go on sale sometime in September this year.

The most significant changes will be at the front. The car will get a new mesh grille with different chrome detailing, tweaked headlamps and a redesigned bumper (with daytime running LEDs). The dash will be updated but it will still have the gear lever mounted to it. The car gets a new integrated 6.75-inch touchscreen set up with Bluetooth and mirroring connectivity options, and there even is a revised instrument cluster.

The front row of seats which were controversial are now gone and the car gets standard bucket seats for the driver and front passenger. The car will come with more kit, including electric mirror adjustment and four-door power windows. The facelifted cars will also get front airbags, ABS and rear parking sensors as standard.

Mechanically, there are no major changes - the current 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, mated to a five-speed manual transmission, will continue. The cars might see a hike in prices though.
