When KTM launched the 250 Duke this year, they opened up a new segment. The 250 Duke has seen decent sales figures because it fits well between the 200 Duke and the 390 Duke. Not only is the Duke 250 competitively priced, it also comes with more power than the 200 and features styling of the more expensive 390.
KTM’s RC models received minor updates for 2017 too. The new RCs get a new exhaust system and ride-by-wire throttle. The RC also got new graphics and paint schemes. Other than that, it remains largely unchanged.
When KTM launched the new RCs in India, it was missing the RC 250 model and the company suggested that they would not be launching it in India. However, recent spy images captured of the RC 250 testing in India could suggest otherwise. But, India is an export hub for KTM, which means the spied motorcycle could simply be undergoing testing for the international market. Adding to this, our sources inform us that the RC 250 is not currently under consideration for India.
