Skoda Rapid Onyx edition launched in India, priced from Rs. 9.57 lakhs (ex-showroom). The special edition comes with only cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior. The Rapid Onyx comes with a new Lapiz Blue colour. There are black contrasting elements on the exterior including 16-inch alloy wheels, gloss black ORVMs, body side moulding and trunk lip garnish.
The interior of the Rapid Onyx get ebony sand theme with perforated beige wood design leatherette upholstery. The flat bottom steering wheel comes with black stitching. The scuff plates get Rapid inscription and there is a rear windscreen sunblind. To keep things neat and tidy inside the cabin, Skoda has also integrated black waste bin with this Rapid.
The 6.5-inch infotainment system comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The Rapid Onyx is being offered with both 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine and 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine. Both the engine options come with automatic and manual transmission options. With the upcoming festive season, the Skoda Rapid will garner quite a lot of attention with this special edition.
