The 2018 range of the Gixxer and Gixxer SF motorcycles now come with new two-tone colours – Candy Sonoma Red/Metallic Sonic Silver. The base Gixxer, which comes fitted with rear drum brakes, is priced at Rs 77,015, while the version that comes with a rear disc brake costs Rs Rs 80,929 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The outgoing blue-coloured SF features new Ecstar logos and costs Rs 90,037. The ABS version is priced at Rs 96,386 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
Aside from the price hike on these updated BS-IV versions, the motorcycles remain identical to the older models. The 155cc single-cylinder motor makes 14.8hp of power and 14Nm and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The ABS-equipped Gixxer SF is mechanically the same as the non-ABS version, but the only difference is that it weighs 1kg more.
