The upcoming Speed Triple was teased in a video released by Triumph recently. The styling of the bike looks considerably revised. There’s a new TFT colour instrumentation, five-spoke alloy wheels, a redesigned front fender and switchgear. Based on the way Triumph updated its Street and Tiger range, you could very well expect a considerable number of changes on the new Speed Triple.
What you can see clearly in the video is the TFT colour screen. This screen is a full-colour unit that’s similar to the ones on the updated Street Triple RS and Tiger models. The bike will also be fitted with new switchgear that will also be backlit.
The videos show redesigned five-spoke wheels and a sharper-looking front fender. There may be some mechanical changes to the bike, and it could see smarter electronic assists, possibly aided by an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). We may also see the RS badge debut on the Speed Triple this year.
