The prices of the Maruti S-Cross has been increased in India as the carmaker has introduced new features in the crossover. Reverse parking sensors, speed alert buzzer and passenger seatbelt reminder now come as standard across all the variants. These features add to the safety quotient of the Maruti S-Cross and making these features standard is a good move by the carmaker.
Maruti Suzuki already offers dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX mounts as standard across all variants of the S-Cross. Additionally, the S-Cross Delta variant gets automatic climate control, cruise control, rear wiper and auto folding mirrors. Along with this, the Delta trim also gets keyless go with smart key and push button start/stop features that adds to the convenience.
There are no other mechanical or cosmetic changes in the updated S-Cross. It comes with a single diesel engine option, which is a 1.3-litre oil burner that produces 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Maruti S-Cross comes with a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.1 km/l. There is no automatic gearbox on offer currenlty neither a petrol engine.
