The New Q7 features a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol that produces 252hp and 370Nm.
The top-spec Q7 40 TFSI is priced at Rs 74.43 lakh (ex-showroom). Power is channelled via an eight-speed transmission and the 40 TFSI also features Audi’s four-wheel drive system. Audi has priced the base variant at a competition beating ₹67.76 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 40 TFSI gets all the bells and whistles that the diesel-engined Q7 is equipped with. Some of these features include the LED headlamps (that increase intensity and throw of the headlight beam when vehicle speeds exceed 110kph), Audi's 'Parking System Plus' (with a 360-degree surround-view camera). The car is also equipped with an electronically controlled air suspension with variable damping, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, panoramic sunroof and Audi’s virtual cockpit.
This petrol Q7 is set to compete in the large premium SUV segment. It will take on the likes of Land Rover’s Discovery 3.0L petrol, Mercedes-Benz’ GLE 400, Jeep’s Grand Cherokee petrol and BMW’s X5 35i.
