The car will be launched on September 4, 2017, and will be fitted with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that makes 252hp and 370Nm.
Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed gearbox and Audi claims the SUV can hit 100kph in a claimed 7.1sec, the same figure as the diesel-powered 45 TDI.
The car is expected to come fitted with the same level of kit as its diesel counterpart. So, you’ll get Audi's 'Parking System Plus' (with 360-degree surround-view camera), LED headlamps, electronically controlled air suspension with variable damping, Audi’s virtual cockpit, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and a panoramic sunroof.
Audi also recently launched the Q7 Design Edition in India.
