BMW revealed the car ahead of its Frankfurt motor show debut in September. The Edition 40 Jahre was commissioned to celebrate 40 years of the 7-Series and the company will only produce 200 units of the car.
You can choose either a Frozen Silver Metallic finish or the Petrol Mica metallic from the BMW Individual range. The M Aerodynamics package will come fitted as standard.
There’s a high-gloss Shadow Line and 20-inch BMW Individual light alloys, special badges on the B-pillar, door sills and on the dashboard to differentiate this car from the standard. You can choose either a BMW Individual full leather trim Merino grain in a Smoke White/Cohiba finish or a Smoke White/Black finish for your car. The Jahre comes with comfort seats, front and rear and there are comfort cushions from BMW Individual as well as custom floor mats.
The car will go on sale in October and you can choose between either the standard-wheelbase car or the long-wheelbase version. You can also decide whether you want the six-, eight- or twelve-cylinder engine under the hood.
