BMW has officially teased the Z4, which will be revealed at Pebble Beach soon. On an Instagram pot by the carmaker, the outline of the two-seat roadster is visible. While the company hasn’t explicitly stated that this is the BMW Z4, there are a couple of details that indicate it is the Z4 - the short rear deck, long bonnet, pointy nose and low stance.
The front-end is sharper than the spy images and the whole car is lower and sleeker, which indicates that this car may well be a concept. Based on previous spy images, the car will come with a more stylish front-end, with a larger grille, flanked by sweptback headlights. The upcoming Z4 will also feature slim taillights and a dual exhaust system. The new Z-series is made on a new platform co-developed by BMW and Toyota.
The car could come fitted with a three-spoke steering wheel, a larger infotainment system, and a wide centre console. Rumours suggest that the new Z4 will be lighter, faster and sharper than the outgoing model and that BMW will sell it in four-cylinder and six-cylinder guises.
