The regulation that makes mandatory ABS/CBS is around the corner and brands are adding anti-lock braking systems or combined brakes to on their products. Benelli recently started offering the 302R with ABS as standard, and now, its closely related naked sibling, the TNT 300 will also feature ABS as standard.
Mechanically, the bike is the same as the earlier TNT 300, spare for the new safety system. Power from its 300cc parallel-twin motor is 38.26hp and 26.5Nm. The addition of ABS may have taken the weight up but Benelli hasn’t released the exact specs yet.
The TNT 300 ABS costs ₹3.29 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), an increase of ₹21,000, and it will be sold at all of the company’s 26 showrooms located across the country.
