The Go+ based Cross, which will be sold in the Indonesian market, comes loaded with features. The car gets all-round body cladding, halogen projector headlamps, front fog lamps, LED position lamps, faux skid plates on the front bumper, sides and rear, a roof spoiler, a rear wiper and roof rails (in either black or silver) that can carry up to 30kg loads. Like the Go+, you get an all-black theme, the same instrument cluster and steering wheel. There’s also a 6.75-inch touchscreen unit, with AM/FM, MP3, USB, Aux-in, Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity.
Based on the kit on offer, this is Datsun’s most premium model on sale. With this car, you get automatic headlamps with a follow-me- home function, rear parking sensors and seatbelts for all three rows, front and rear power windows, electrically adjustable rear-view mirrors and a power outlet, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, stability control (called VDC), and traction control.
Mechanically, the Go+ engine, which makes 68hp and 104Nm, powers this car. You can pick between either a CVT automatic or a five-speed manual gearbox. There is no word on whether Datsun will bring the Cross to India.
