Japanese magazine ‘Best Car’ got hold of images and a few details of the upcoming Supra. The car will make its return after 16 years and will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show. According to the leak, the new Supra will be 4,380mm long, 1,855mm wide, 1,290mm tall and will have a wheelbase of 2,470mm.
The car weighs 1,496kg, which makes it 14kg lighter than the previous Supra and 250kg heavier than the Toyota GT86.
The leak says the car will be powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine that makes 340hp and 450Nm. The car is built on the same platform as the BMW Z4, and both cars sit on the same carbon-fibre architecture.
If the car can hit 100kph in 3.8sec that puts it in the same league as the PDK-equipped Porsche 911 Carrera S. Toyota would not comment on the leak and has not confirmed any of these details.
