Renault has launched the Sandstorm edition of the Duster for the Indian market. The limited edition model will be on sale during the festive season and features unique exterior paint shade options and interior bits. However, the car remains mechanically unchanged.
The Sandstorm-edition Duster is available in both 85hp and 110hp versions of the diesel car, and prices start at ₹10.40 lakh for the 85hp version and goes up to ₹11.70 lakh for the 110hp version (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Transmission options for the Sandstorm edition also remain identical as the standard car, with the 85hp model getting a five-speed manual gearbox and the 110hp version getting a six-speed unit.
The Sandstorm has different exterior paint shade options, with contrasting body graphics and body-coloured door handles. The car also gets a bumper extension up front and restyled fog lamps. Furthermore, the Sandstorm gets a matte black grille instead of the chrome one on the standard car. The car is also being offered with redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the Sandstorm gets different dual-tone seat covers.
The Renault Duster locks horn with the likes of the Mahindra Scorpio, Honda BR-V and the Hyundai Creta.
