Official images of the facelifted Figo, known as the Ka+ in Europe, have surfaced online. The car gets minor cosmetic tweaks to the exterior and interior. There are larger headlights and a new front grille with a chrome surround.
The cabin has also been upgraded, there is a redesigned dash and you also get a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) system from the Figo-based Freestyle cross-hatch. In Europe, the 1.2-litre petrol engine is available in two forms – a 70hp and an 85hp. The 1.5-litre diesel comes in a 95hp version.
Both are Euro-VI compliant and feature start/stop technology. In India, the new 96hp, three-cylinder, 1.2-litre petrol engine from the Freestyle will power this car. Ford is also expected to also facelift the Aspire compact sedan this year.
