The New Figo-based cross-hatchback will be revealed by the company on January 31, 2018. The car will most probably be called the Freestyle and will sport rugged, SUV-esque cosmetic changes. Ground clearance will be higher, there will be roof rails, body cladding, fatter tyres and larger wheels.
On the lower-spec cars, you get a 6.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while higher-spec models will feature an 8.0-inch system with Ford’s Sync 3, instead. Top-spec trims also feature six airbags, ABS and ESP.
Under the hood will sit a new 95hp/115Nm, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Dragon petrol engine. It will be fitted to a new, five-speed manual transmission as well. More details will be revealed as we get closer to the launch date.
