Hero has updated three of its commuter motorcycles for 2018. The bikes feature a host of changes to make them more appealing. All three motorcycles will go on sale in January 2018.
Hero Super Splendor
The new Splendor offers more power, but not so much for outright performance, it’s for easier rideability. It uses the same 125cc engine from the Glamour, which makes 11.4hp and 11Nm. You also get i3S start-stop tech. The bike makes 27 percent more power and 6 percent more torque and has a claimed top speed of 94kph. You also get Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), side stand indicator and a wider rear tyre. The company claims this bike has the largest underseat storage space, there’s
even room under the tank. There’s a new, sportier-looking seat and revised side panels that look less boxy now. The tail is new as well, with a neatly integrated LED tail-lamp. There are five colours with new graphics available.
Hero Passion Pro
The new Passion Pro is powered by a 110cc engine from the iSmart. This motor makes 9.4hp and 9Nm and also gets Hero’s i3S feature. This bike also makes 12 percent more power and torque. It’s fitted with a new headlamp, the tank is more sculpted and rear quarter panel a bit more curvaceous, and the tail-lamp design sports a clean look. You also get a redesigned digital-analogue meter, AHO, side stand indicator, maintenance-free battery and an optional mobile charger accessory. There are five colours on sale.
Hero Passion XPro
The design on the XPro is a whole lot bolder and sharper. The bike now wears a new LED tail- lamp, has a sleeker headlamp, features dual-tone coloured mirrors and a rear hugger. The other changes are the same as on the Pro. The XPro will come in five dual-tone colour options.
